Here are the latest that we know of the Whimbrel sightings:
Tuesday May 26: a sighting from the Little Qualicum River Estuary, seen by the parking area on Surfside.
Monday May 25: sighting at Pipers Lagoon in Nanaimo.
Saturday May 23: seen in the mud flat during low tide at the Englishman River Estuary in Parksville.
