A male Rufous Hummingbird was reported today and was first seen on Monday February 18th. The hummingbird was seen in north Nanaimo on Sand Piper Place, which is off of Fillenger Crescent.
There was also a sighting of a Rufous Hummingbird in Nanaimo on last wekkends Great Backyard Bird Count.
