The Backyard's Weekly Bird Walks are starting up again on Sunday, March 1st out of Nanaimo, and Tuesday, March 10th out of Parksville.

A COUPLE OF SIGHTINGS

ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was seen at the Nanaimo River Estuary on Wednesday November 19.

GRAY-CROWNED ROSEY FINCH was seen up on Sugarloaf mountain, located in the Departure Bay area of Nanaimo. The bird was seen on Tuesday November 18.
