Steller's Jays have been spotted! Keep your eyes open and see if you can spot any banded jays, plus the colour of the bands.
If banded jays are spotted, report them to Report Banded Birds
We have a breeding pair at Cape Lazo in Comox. Hve not found their nest but I have seen both male and female for two weeks every day.
That is great that you are seeing a pair of Bullock's Orioles. Finding the nest can be a challenge as they will build dummy nests as well.Any chance of a photo? Also, approximately where in Cape Lazo are they seen.thank you.
