Hi Birders,
We received a report here at the bird store of an Eastern Pheobe seen at a pond at the end of Viking Way in Columbia Beach (just north of Parksville).
Also, a Golden Eagle was seen flying over Protection Island in Nanaimo Harbour. It was identified by the large white window in each wing and the shape of the head.
Both birds were seen on Tuesday, April 22nd.
