WHIMBREL SIGHTING

A Whimbrel was seen this morning on the mud flats of Pipers Lagoon in north Nanaimo.
At Neck Point Park the Black-throated Gray and Orange-crowned Warblers were singing, along with American Goldfinch, Purple Finch, Bewick's Wren, and a male Anna's Hummingbird providing great views perched up in the same tree for the last 3 bird walks near the water front.
Good birding!
