The Backyard's Weekly Bird Walks are starting up again on Sunday, March 1st out of Nanaimo, and Tuesday, March 10th out of Parksville.

Coming this weekend are many Brant Festival Events!

  • Seeking a Balance II tour with Guy Monty and Tim Clermont. Tour from 8:30am to 1:30pm Beginning at Pacific Shores Resort

  • Banding Birds Around the World with Rich Mooney. Presentation from 2-4pm at Beach Acres Resort


Sunday- April 1

  • THE BIG DAY BIRDING CHALLENGE Bird til you drop then head to the Beach Acres Resort for a wind up compelte with a fiddle band and great food! Come to the wind up even if you weren't out briding!
