British Columbia Bird Alert |

On the morning of
April 27th, 2016 Adrian Dorst photographed a White-cheeked Starling in
Tofino. This bird could be ship assisted or an escapee. There is only one ABA
record from 1998 in Homer, Alaska and the bird was presumed to be ship
assisted but was rejected due to provenance.
Adrian found this bird on a local lawn in Tofino but was not able to relocate the bird this afternoon. So far there is no more information as to where in Tofino the bird was seen or if it is located on public property. As soon as more details come in they will be posted here. |
