The Backyard's Weekly Bird Walks are starting up again on Sunday, March 1st out of Nanaimo, and Tuesday, March 10th out of Parksville.

SNOW BUNTING / CHIPPING SPARROWS

We have just received a report of a possible Snow Bunting seen at Piper's Lagoon. There was a flock of Chipping Sparrows seen approximately 100 yards from the parking lot, in the grass beside the lagoon. The Snow Bunting was seen near this spot in the grass.
