Parksville/Qualicum Beach Tuesday bird walk, May 24, 2011

The Tuesday bird walk went to Plummer Road. It was a sunny morning,
but the birds were fairly quiet. The highlight of the walk was
seeing 20 or more Black Swift flying overhead and also watching a
Spotted Sandpiper along the waterline. With John Purvees in the
lead, 10 birders identified the following 34 species:
