The Backyard's Weekly Bird Walks are starting up again on Sunday, March 1st out of Nanaimo, and Tuesday, March 10th out of Parksville.

First of the season bird sightings

March 14, 2017
A first of the year a Turkey Vulture was seen above the Waterline trail off Nanaimo Lakes Road in Nanaimo. 

March 15, 2017
Two Violet-green Swallows were seen above Arrowsmith Road in French Creek.
