The Backyard's Weekly Bird Walks are starting up again on Sunday, March 1st out of Nanaimo, and Tuesday, March 10th out of Parksville.

RARE BIRD:
We received a report of a HAWK OWL seen this morning February 4 2015, in the south west corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot in Duncan. The bird was observed for 5 minutes before it flew into the woods.
