The Backyard's Weekly Bird Walks are starting up again on Sunday, March 1st out of Nanaimo, and Tuesday, March 10th out of Parksville.

Geese in the park

An immature Snow Goose and an adult Snow Goose were seen with the large flock of Canada Geese near the curling rink at the community park in Parksville—plus Eight Brandt Geese were spotted in with a large flock of gulls on the large gravel pit on Parksville Bay in Parksville on November 6, 2015.
