The Backyard's Weekly Bird Walks are starting up again on Sunday, March 1st out of Nanaimo, and Tuesday, March 10th out of Parksville.

Sunday bird walk location has changed for December 14, 2014

Raines Road going to the Nanaimo River Estuary has an  Evacuation Alert posted for it today. We have decided to go to Neck Point Park on December 14 for the Sunday bird walk rather then the Estuary. We will meet at the Birdstore at 9:00 a.m. or at the parking lot at Neck Point Park off Hammond Bay Road at about 9:15 a.m. on Sunday.
